Yvonne Tan Hong Yean (“Yvonne”) is the designated fund manager for equity funds, balanced funds and mixed asset funds:

Yvonne has been with the Manager for over eighteen (18) years. She is currently heading the equity team and overseeing all the Manager’s equity funds. Prior to that, she was heading the insurance investment team, overseeing more than RM20 billion in funds.

Yvonne has over thirty (30) years of experience in the investment industry, comprising over twenty-four (24) years in fund management and over six (6) years in investment research. Yvonne has experience in managing the domestic and Asia Pacific ex-Japan equities, as well as balanced funds.

Prior to joining the Manager, she was a senior investment manager in a leading multinational insurance company, and she was also one of the pioneers of a local and Singapore-based asset management company. Yvonne obtained her Capital Markets Services Representative’s License in January 2007 from the SC.

Yvonne holds a Bachelor of Science (First Class Honours) and she graduated from the Association of International Accountants (United Kingdom) in 1993. She is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Charterholder since September 1998.

Lum Choong Kuan (“Lum”) is the designated fund manager for bond funds and money market funds:

Lum joined the Manager in September 2022 as Head of Fixed Income.

Lum brings with him over twenty-six (26) years of experience working in the financial industry. He had worked with CIMB Investment Bank Berhad as Head, Regional Fixed Income Research, AmFunds Management Berhad as Head, Sovereign Research and Portfolio Manager and Malayan Banking Berhad as Executive Vice President/Fixed Income Specialist. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce from Curtin University of Technology and is a Capital Markets Services Representative’s License holder.

Sher Ling joined the Manager in February 2021.

Sher Ling brings with her over twenty (20) years of working experience in the financial services industry, spanning corporate finance, private equity, fixed income and investment management. She started her career as a corporate finance analyst with PwC Advisory Services before moving on to senior investment roles with Great Eastern Life Assurance Berhad, Hong Leong Asset Management Berhad and Prudential Assurance Malaysia Berhad.

Sher Ling holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics and Management from University of London, United Kingdom and a Master’s degree in Corporate Strategy and Governance from University of Nottingham, United Kingdom.
